Gonzalo Cordova is the creator of the Adult Swim animated series Women Wearing Shoulder Pads. Originally of Ecuadorian descent, Gonzalo's family moved to South Florida when he was six-years-old. He learned to speak English by watching television, much like English-speakers will soon be able to learn Spanish by watching his upcoming show. In 2008, Gonzalo moved to New York City where he developed his writing and directing skills from eight years of creating stand-up, sketch, and comedic plays.
Gonzalo Cordova currently lives in Pasadena, California and works as a professional TV writer. His TV credits include Jimmy Kimmel Live!, The Academy Awards (2017 and 2018), Tuca & Bertie, Undone, Super Mutant Magic Academy and more.
